The South Florida Student Resistance Committee is a confederation of high schoolers across South Florida. As left-wing students in a collapsing political environment, we find it necessary to fight back against the encroaching tide of fascism from DeSantis and the Republican party, as well as struggle against the inaction and complicit responsibility of the Democrats in enabling such a rise of hatred towards minorities and the poor in modern society.
Every young person must recognize the hell that the American empire and capitalism will cause to their future, from the ravages of climate change (that both parties push forward), imperialism, and police brutality ferocious enough to lower the life expectancy of the US. It is our duty to fight back. And it is our duty to win!
We currently have chapters at Everglades High School, Cypress Bay High School, and Broward College Academy.
